Weekly virtual meetings - March 2020

On the evening the Scottish lockdown was announced, the Leith SWI committee met online to try out different types of virtual meetings. The following Tuesday, the first Leith SWI virtual meeting took place and we've been meeting every week since. There have been various speakers, classes and demonstrations including:

• Scottish crime authors,

• BBC Beechgrove Garden presenter George Anderson,

• The founder of the Edinburgh Tool Library,

• The founder of the Scottish Women with Autism Network (SWAN),

• A ballet class with Silver Swans,

• PhD researchers at Edinburgh University (which included having to eat chocolate!)
