Wow, when we look back at everything we got up to in 2022 it's amazing that we managed to fit it all in. We packed so many activities in that it easily made up for all the face to face meetings we'd missed out on in 2020 and 2021 due to lockdowns.
We already mentioned the Audacious Women's Festival in a previous blog post, here are just some of the other activities we got up to in 2022:
We ran a series of free craft events at Duncan Place Community Hub
Chocolate tasting night
Litter pick on the Links
Lock in at Hotter Shoes
Campfire on Porty beach for the summer solstice
Volunteered at the Royal Highland Show
Burlesque class
Visit to Lochend Secret Garden
Lots and lots of Festival fun: free tickets to Murrayfield and the Festival Theatre and the Pleasance and a jungle book dance workshop led by EIF staff (and lots more!)
Ladies self defence class with an Olympic medalist!
SUP and kayaking at Musselburgh Lagoons
Ran a stall during Celebrate Leith
Had evening tea and a suffragette speaker for our AGM
Created items for the Grassmarket Community Project over three evenings
Squeezed in a few pub visits
Halloween cake-pops (yum!)
Wild swim to mark the end of summer
Silent disco and buffet Christmas party
